Upon arrival at Geneva Airport (GVA), your private driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall to help with your luggage and take you by private vehicle along the Swiss Riviera to the elegant town of Montreux. Settle into the Grand Hotel Suisse Majestic (or similar), located directly on the shore of Lake Geneva. Spend the afternoon freely strolling along the Montreux waterfront and taking in the Riviera’s microclimate (optional city tour, regular or private, can be added).
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, board the famous Cheese Train. The route winds through the picturesque Pays-d’Enhaut region while you enjoy a glass of local wine and alpine cheese. Arrival in Château-d’Oex for a cheese-making demonstration at the traditional restaurant “Le Chalet,” followed by a delicious Swiss cheese fondue lunch. After lunch, the journey continues to the famous, glamorous village of Gstaad, a winter retreat for high society. Check in at Hotel Mansard (or similar), a modern boutique property steeped in the finest alpine charm.
Breakfast. Today you’ll take one of the region’s most exclusive mountain excursions. Travel to Col du Pillon to take the cable car up to 3,000 meters at Glacier 3000. On arrival, cross the Peak Walk by Tissot, the world’s only suspension bridge connecting two mountain peaks, offering breathtaking views of 24 peaks over 4,000 meters, including Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn, and the Jungfrau. Enjoy the glacier’s pure air and lunch (optional) at Mario Botta’s panoramic restaurant. Free afternoon in Gstaad to explore its luxury boutiques along the pedestrian promenade or enjoy snow activities.
Breakfast. Train journey from Gstaad to Bern, Switzerland’s federal capital. Discover its Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, walking beneath its 6 kilometers of historic arcades (the “Lauben”) and admiring the famous Clock Tower (Zytglogge). At midday, transfer to Thun to board a scheduled boat for a panoramic cruise on Lake Thun, surrounded by historic castles, Romanesque churches, and the imposing peaks of the Jungfrau. After disembarking in Interlaken, continue by train to the idyllic mountain village of Grindelwald. Check in at Hotel Eiger (or similar).
Breakfast. In the morning, head to Grindelwald Terminal to ride up on the modern Eiger Express, an innovative tricable cable car offering spectacular views of the legendary north face of the Eiger, up to the Eigergletscher station. From there, the cogwheel train travels through the mountain’s interior up to Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe (3,454m). Explore the Ice Palace and the Sphinx terrace, from where you’ll enjoy unforgettable views of the Aletsch Glacier and the impressive alpine world around it. After the visit, descend via the scenic Kleine Scheidegg route (optional reservation for lunch with panoramic views), passing through Wengen, down to the Lauterbrunnen valley, famous for its towering rock walls with nearly 300 meters of sheer drop. After free time to stroll through the valley and admire its scenery, return by train to Grindelwald to rest and enjoy the rest of the afternoon.
Breakfast. Today you’ll board the panoramic Luzern-Interlaken Express in 2nd class, crossing mountain passes and turquoise lakes. Upon arrival in Lucerne, head to the harbor to begin the scenic journey to Mount Rigi, known as the “Queen of the Mountains.” Sail across Lake Lucerne to Vitznau to take Europe’s oldest cogwheel train up to the summit (Rigi Kulm). After enjoying the 360-degree views, return to Lucerne to stroll across the famous Chapel Bridge and its beloved historic center. In the afternoon, regular train to Zurich and check-in at the centrally located Ruby Mimi Hotel (or similar).
Breakfast. In the morning, head to Kilchberg to visit the interactive Lindt Home of Chocolate museum, home to the impressive 9-meter-tall chocolate fountain. Enjoy an audio-guided tour through the history of Swiss cocoa, ending with a generous, unlimited tasting of premium chocolates and pralines. Spend the free afternoon enjoying Zurich: stroll along the world-famous Bahnhofstrasse for shopping, visit the historic Fraumünster and Grossmünster churches, or walk along the shores of the city’s great lake.
Breakfast at the hotel. Free time for last-minute shopping of gifts and premium Swiss chocolates. At the agreed time, your private driver will pick you up at the hotel for a comfortable private transfer to Zurich Airport (ZRH). Check in for your flight home.
